To provide an educational program that encourages a positive self-concept, creative expression, critical thinking, and academic excellence challenging students to reach their own highest potential.
Every school in the Pleasant Valley School District has its own library (see below for links to these libraries). The District Library serves the needs of staff and students at the schools by directing and assisting the school libraries. Professional books, videos, a library of music CDs, and literature kits are circulated by the school libraries. Library books and other materials for the individual school libraries are acquired by school staff.
Suggestions for new acquisitions are always welcome. Each spring staff members receive a survey form asking for their recommendations for books, videos, and other media that might enhance the school or District Library collections.
