About Me
I have been teaching at El Descanso School for 9 years. I have been a member of the second grade team for 5 years. Other grades I have taught include first and fifth. I was born, raised, and continue to live in Ventura. I LOVE the beach! After high school, I earned my Associate of Arts degree at Ventura College. I transferred to Cal State University Northridge, and graduated Cum Laude with a Baccalaureate of Arts degree in Child Development. I then took a year to complete my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I went on to complete many graduate courses in Educational Psychology. Although very busy, I have many interests in life. Some of the things that I am passionate about are: teaching, reading, family, music, animals, and walking at the beach. Although I love all animals, my favorites are my two cats- Lucky and Oliver!
