Committee Chairs
PTA EXECUTIVE BOARD for 2012-2013

PTA President - Cindy Laudato-Wong
Serving as president of a PTA includes the responsibility to lead that PTA toward specific goals chosen by its members. The goals must be consistent with the policies and purposes of the PTA. The president is the presiding officer and the official representative of the association.

Executive VP - Communications - Kat Gregory
The Executive VP is the president's right hand.  The EVP oversees all communication committees and processes and serve as the PTA's representative in the president's absence.

1st VP - Ways and Means - Beth Sassower
The first VP oversees all fundraising committees.  This VP is responsible for obtaining reports, communicating PTA policies, and providing support to her committee chairs.

2nd VP- School Programs - Kelly Long
The second  VP oversees all School Program committees.  This VP is responsible for obtaining reports, communicating PTA policies, and providing support to her committee chairs.  School Programs are defined as programs that the PTA supports, but are initiated by the school.  Some of the committees are:  Red Ribbon Week, School Garden, Fifth Grade Event, TAP, School Team Support, and Staff Appreciation.

3rd VP- PTA Programs - Amanda Searle
The third VP oversees all PTA Program committees.  This VP is responsible for obtaining reports, communicating PTA policies, and providing support to her committee chairs.  PTA programs and events are defined as signature state and national PTA programs and other programs that the PTA initiates and runs.  Some of these committees are:  Reflections, HSA, Art Docent, Growging Green, Play for Life, Science Night, Assemblies, Enrichment, and others.

Secretary Michelle Fisher
The secretary is elected by the association and is one of the three required officers of a PTA.  The secretary's responsibilities include: taking minutes, maintaining accurate and permanent association records, and have on hand at each meeting an updated copy of the bylaws and standing rules, agendas, minutes of previous meetings, list of committees, and membership roster.

Treasurer Kathryn Masci
The treasurer is an elected officer and the authorized custodian of all funds of the local PTA. The treasurer is responsible for all PTA disbursements.  The treasurer’s duties also include keeping records and preparing reports to comply with local, state and federal laws.

Financial Secretary Kim Woolley
The financial secretary is an elected officer and collects all monies to be deposited to the PTA.

Historian - Kamala Nahas
The Historian is an elected officer and is responsible for recording and reporting volunteer hours and maintaining a history book of PTA events and programs.  Our Historian also oversees the school photography committee and sits on the yearbook committee.

Parliamentarian – Nicole Sadowsky
The Parliamentarian is an appointed member of the executive board and is responsible for maintaining up to date bylaws and standing rules, as well as, maintaining order during PTA meetings.

Auditor -
Natasha Scrivener
The PTA Auditor is an elected officer, however the books can be audited by an appointed committee or paid auditor.  The auditor shall perform two semi-annual audits of the books to be sure receipts have been properly accounted for and expenditures made as authorized in the minutes and in conformity with PTA rules and regulations.  The auditor cannot be a check-signer.
