BACK-TO-SCHOOL PACKETThe PTA Back-to-school packet is a way for you to take care of all the little expenses for all of your children at La Mariposa at one time. Your child should receive their envelope on Thursday, September 6. Please complete the summary printed on your envelope, enclose your forms, and make your payment NO LATER THAN Friday, Sept.21. Now there are two ways to pay:
Credit Card
1. Fill in the information requested on the envelope.
2. Make all of your purchases on the online store.
3. Note the amount and transaction # on the last line of the envelope.
4. Include a copy of the receipt.*
5. Return the envelope to your child's teacher by Friday, Sept. 21.
Check

PTA Membership: PTA is founded on advocacy. The PTA lobbies for education and children in Sacramento and Washington each and everyday. Because of PTA we have TV and video ratings, a federal school lunch program, and believe it our not, Kindergarten. It only costs $6 per person to join. One FREE admission to LEGOLAND® and either SEA LIFE Carlsbad Aquarium or LEGOLAND WaterPark with one full-price paid admission of equal or greater value! Student Agenda Planner/Homework Folder: Each year the LM PTA provides an agenda planner (gr. 2-5) or durable plastic homework folder (gr. K-1, and SDC) for EVERY student. We are requesting a donation of $5 per student to offset those costs.
Yearbook: Trust us, buy it now, get it done. We do not order a lot of extra yearbooks and you don't want to forget.
eScrip Registration: Can you believe we raise more than $10,000 a year and all you have to do is give us your vons card #? If there is one thing you do for La Mariposa, this is it!
Spirit Wear: Every Friday is Spirit Day! Use the form, order online, or click here to see when you can buy in person.
Jog-A-Thon: If you are one of those people that just wants to get it over with, you can make your donation now! (You can do it later, too.) If each student donates $80 we will reach our goal! Jog-a-thon pays for hands-on classroom enrichment, classroom supplies, PE Teacher, art programs and so much more! Learn more about Jog-a-thon.
