Tierra Linda Hawks are well into another fantastic school year.  Thanks to our PTA we had a hugely successful Jog A Thon and Book Fair.  Both events raised thousands of dollars for enrichment activities, technology, library books, and much more.  Several more events at restauraunts and movie theatres are planned throughout the school year- what a great way have fun with the family and support Tierra Linda as well!

 

On November 10th, we will have our Veterans' Day Assemblies at 10:15 and 11:15.  Under the direction of Mrs. Kristin Hicks, our perfoming arts group will sing a tribute to all branches of the U.S. Military.  Veterans are invited to join us as special guests-of course parents are welcome too. 

 

The first trimester ends on November 20th.  Report cards will be sent home December 9th.  When you receive the report cards, be sure to  take some time and sit down with your child to discuss his or her progress this year.  If there are any concerns or questions, do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher or me.

 

Thank you to all of you who observe and support our before and after school procedures.  Traffic in front of the school has always been a concern,  we will continue to observe and find ways to improve the situation.  Our top priority is to keep the campus safe and secure for our students.
