  • CAASPP Testing - PARENT LETTER

    test 2 Our testing window this year is May 1 - May 19, 2017.  Please contact your child's school for their specific testing schedule.

    New for the 2017 school year! The SRTMS PTO’s C.R.E.A.T.E. program is a fun “Creative Arts” competition, developed in coordination with our teachers and community. The idea behind  C.R.E.A.T.E. is to foster an excitement and interest about the “Creative Arts” within our student body. SRTMS student’s creative work will be exhibited at SRTMS during Open House in May. We will be partnering with our local community for judging, showcasing and advancement exposure.
     
    All actual artwork submission will be due on April 18, 2017.

  • Logo SAVE THE DATE!  18th ANNUAL 5K PEEL OUT - April 30, 2017

    The Camarillo-Somis Pleasant Valley Lions Club, in partnership with the Pleasant Valley School District, is proud to present our 18thAnnual 5k, one mile Bananarama Run, and 1k Cub Run on Sunday, April 30, 2017.  The day of health, fitness, and running gives runners three different races to choose from.  It will also include a many wellness based vendors.  The event will be held at the beautiful Camarillo Ranch House, and the 5k is one of the fastest 5k runs in Ventura County.  Click here to read more about the event, and to connect to the electronic registration. As in the past, the 5K and Cub Run are pay-for events, however, students can sign up for the Bananarama one mile run which is free of charge.   • LAST BOX TOPS COLLECTION DAY - Wednesday, May 24Box Tops

    Keep collecting those Box Tops...the last Box Top collection of this school year will be Wednesday, May 24 at lunch.  Please send baggies with 50 neatly trimmed, non-expired Box Tops.
     
    Smencils will be given for one or more baggies of 50 Box Tops and decorated pencils will be given baggies with less than 50 Box Tops.

    Summer School

    Registration is open for the 2017 Summer School and Youth Arts Academy which will be held at Rancho Rosal. Classes begin on June 22 and run through July 19.

  • CHILD CARE REGISTRATION FOR THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR!Child Care

    Registration for PVSD Child Care for the 2017-18 school year will open on Monday, February 27. Beginning that day, forms will be available at the school office, District Office or available for download here.

    Forms must be submitted to the District Office and must be accompanied by a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per child.

  • PEANUT/TREE NUT FREE CLASSROOMS

    Due to numerous student allergies, ALL SRTMS classrooms are “peanut/tree nut free zones”. NO peanut/tree nut products are allowed in the classrooms, including any foods processed in a facility that also processes nuts. NO EXCEPTIONS. All food products brought to the SRTMS campus (example: parties, teacher luncheons, sports banquets) MUST be approved by the classroom teacher or office staff. Students may enjoy peanut/tree nut products in their snacks and lunches, yet precautions will be taught to all students to minimize cross contamination. All questions or concerns are to be directed to the Health Office.

  • WELLNESS COMMITTEE MEETINGS FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR

    The Pleasant Valley School District is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle for our students. To send the right message and to help our students make good choices, teachers, staff, parents and students can all work together. Our Wellness Committee will again be meeting this year and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.  The meetings will be held at the Pleasant Valley School District office at 600 Temple Avenue.  They will begin at 8:45 a.m. on the following dates: October 13 and December 8, 2016 and February 9 and April 20, 2017.
