  • What's Happening in December at DCS

    ·         Monday, December 1st – Monday December 15th.  Please bring in non-perishable food to support our Stuff-a-Bus Campaign!  Bring the food items to your child’s teacher(s).

    ·         Friday, December 12th—Crazy Hair Day

    ·         Saturday, December 13th—Camarillo Christmas Parade.  Please join us!  Students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  Meet us at Los Primeros School at 9:00am on Saturday, 12/13.  Parade starts at 10:00 and ends around 11:15 at the Camarillo Community Center.  Wear your dolphin shirt or blue/white colors!

    ·         Friday, December 19th—1st Trimester Report Card go home with students.  Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes will have their Holiday Sing performances. (K at 8:30am/ TK at 11:00am).

             Monday, January 5th--School resumes.

  • Attendance Reminders dc

    Each day your child is absent from school, our district loses money.  In order to help us maximize our school funding, there are a few helpful tips that could directly help your child, our school, and our district:
    • Take your child to school in the morning even if he/she has an appointment in the late morning hours.
    • Return your child to school after appointments (unless sick)
    • Try to plan vacations that coincide with our school holidays and breaks
    • Help get your child to school on time every day
