  • CAASSP Practice Tests: Let’s Get Ready!
In an effort to practice the new testing competencies that will be required of our students, we strongly encourage you to navigate the state practice tests with your son or daughter multiple times before the close of March. It is essential that students take additional opportunities to familiarize themselves with the location of buttons and tabs, the structure and sequencing of questions, and gain a level of comfort with navigation of the test, no matter how great or small. We will actively work here at the school to expose students to the practice tests as well, but the window to explore these tests concludes at the close of March. Please click here for complete instructions on how to access the practice tests.

  • Healthy Lifestyles
The PVSD Board of Trustees recognizes the link between student health and learning and desires to provide a comprehensive program promoting healthy eating and physical activity for District students. The PVSD Wellness page has some great resources for both nutrition and physical activity, even a wonderful section on local walking, hiking, and biking trails.

  • Yearbook Photos
Now is the time! Please submit your photos for the Yearbook as soon as possible. We are especially looking for photos for the "class pages." Please share some photos from your class centers, parties, field trips, lunchtime fun, etc. Our committee is small and we appreciate these submissions! If you are already in the classroom and taking photos, it's just one more step to email them to us. Please use these guidelines to help us create the best memory book for our kids!  Send photos and/or questions to Susan at or Kamala at
