  • Parent Survey
    Research has confirmed that a positive and sustained school climate promotes students' academic achievement and healthy development. Schools can use climate data to promote meaningful staff, family, and student engagement—and to enhance the social, emotional, ethical, civic, and intellectual skills and dispositions that contribute to success in school and in life. This climate survey is an important part of La Mariposa School’s efforts to monitor and improve the quality of our educational environment. It is also another way for our parents to have their voices be heard. Please do not pass up this opportunity to express your opinions. This is a great chance to help improve the educational experience of your child. This survey was designed specifically for our school and the data will be used to help us assess our needs and measure the results of our continued efforts to build a positive school climate. We anticipate that the survey will require approximately 10 minutes for you to complete.   • 2017 Summer School and Youth Arts AcademySummer School
    Registration is open for the 2017 Summer School and Youth Arts Academy which will be held at Rancho Rosal. Classes begin on June 22 and run through July 19. For more information and to register, click here.

    The fabulous items in the silent auction will be available through an on-line bidding site soon. Look for a flyer to come home this week with instructions on how you can bid on special teacher & staff donations, amazing class baskets and more!

  • Box Tops ResultsBox tops
    See Box Top Winners here! One class in each grade level will be able to display the Box Top trophy for the remainder of the year. The top 3 classes also get an ice cream treat and extra recess. See how many each class collected here. We collected almost $500 for our school! Thanks to all who brought in Box Tops. Enter this contest daily until April 9 for a chance to earn 10,000 Box Tops for our school.

  • Registration Timeline for 2016-2017
    Families wishing to register a new student for the 2017-2018 school year must begin the pre-enrollment process online.  Parents/Guardians MUST complete the registration process at their neighborhood school in person. Click here to begin the pre-enrollment process.

  • PVSD and PV Lions Club Run, April 30Peel Out
    The Camarillo-Somis Pleasant Valley Lions Club, in partnership with the Pleasant Valley School District, is proud to present our 18th Annual 5K, one mile Bananarama Run, and 1K Cub Run on Sunday, April 30, 2017. This day of health, fitness, and running gives runners three different races from which to choose. It will also include many wellness based vendors. The event will be held at the beautiful Camarillo Ranch House, and the 5k is one of the fastest 5k runs in Ventura County. As in the past, the 5K and Cub Run are pay for events, however, students can sign up for the Bananarama one mile run which is free of charge. If you or your child would like a t-shirt, the cost is $4. To register for this exciting event and see race times, please click on the following link
