    State Testing
    State testing (CAASSP) continues through May 11 for students in Grades 3, 4, and 5. Be sure your students arrive on time, well-rested and have a good breakfast!

    Noon Dismissal, May 6
    Friday, May 6 is a half day for all students. School ends at 12:00 noon.  All kinders will be on the early schedule for arrival (8:10 a.m.) and will be dismissed at the same time as the other grades, at 12:00. Please be sure to make arrangements with your day-care providers and day-care van drivers!

    May 4 Deadline for Pre-K Enrollments
    May 4th is the deadline for accepting Pre-K enrollment applications. All applications will be turned over to the District Office for further processing and placements on May 5. Pre-K is for children who turn 4 years old before September 1.


    Wednesday, May 18  - 5:30-7:30

    Open House will be on Wednesday, May 18.  We are planning our 3rd 
    annual picnic before Open House. That's right.
    Bring your own dinner, blanket and socialize with your neighbors
    and friends on the lawns of Las Posas. Dinner will be from 5:30-6:30. 
    During dinner the Las Posas 1st and 4th grade students will entertain us at 6:00 p.m..
    Classrooms will be open from 6:30-7:30 p.m. 
    Mark your calendar for a fun and exciting evening.

  •        Notebook  Suggested School Supply Lists, 2015-2016 As a public school, Las Posas provides all regularly needed school supplies.You can help us extend our programs and enhance the products students create in class by sending school supplies with your child on the first day. Needs vary depending on grade and suggestions are grade specific. Supplies are both shared and kept for individual use.
