  • KINDERGARTEN TOURS FOR 2017-18 SCHOOL YEARKindergarten Tours

    It’s that time of the year – if you have a student starting Kindergarten next school year, attend a Santa Rosa Technology Magnet School Tour to learn all about Kindergarten and the fantstic school programs at SRTMS.  Tours will take place on the following dates/times:

    Tuesday, January 17:  9:15 am - 10:15 am

    Thursday, January 26:   1:00 pm - 1:45 pm & 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    Resources: Preparing your child for Kindergarten

  • FIRST LEGO LEAGUE JR. TEAMS NOW FORMING!

    Information Meeting on Monday, January 30FLL Jr.

    All Kindergarten through 3rd graders are invited to participate in the FIRST LEGO League Jr. through the Pleasant Valley Education Foundation's Robotics Roundup program!  All students ages 6-9 are welcome to join teams of 3-6 students.  The number of teams will be determined by the number of coaches.  Parent volunteers are needed to help facilitate the teams at SRTMS, so please consider coaching.

  • WELLNESS COMMITTEE MEETINGS FOR THE 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR

    The Pleasant Valley School District is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle for our students. To send the right message and to help our students make good choices, teachers, staff, parents and students can all work together. Our Wellness Committee will again be meeting this year and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.  The meetings will be held at the Pleasant Valley School District office at 600 Temple Avenue.  They will begin at 8:45 a.m. on the following dates: October 13 and December 8, 2016 and February 9 and April 20, 2017.

  • PEANUT/TREE NUT FREE CLASSROOMS

    Due to numerous student allergies, ALL SRTMS classrooms are “peanut/tree nut free zones”. NO peanut/tree nut products are allowed in the classrooms. NO EXCEPTIONS. All food products brought to the SRTMS campus (example: parties, teacher luncheons, sports banquets) MUST be approved by the classroom teacher or office staff. Students may enjoy peanut/tree nut products in their snacks and lunches, yet precautions will be taught to all students to minimize cross contamination. All questions or concerns are to be directed to the Health Office.

    All information regarding school policies are listed in the SRTMS Student Handbook.  This handbook is printed in the front of elementary agendas and is available on Google Docs for all middle school students.
