    PVSD will be holding three Strategic Plan Stakeholder Meetings over the next few weeks. These meetings are an opportunity for parents and community members to share their opinions, in a group setting, about the District. Input will be used to help shape the strategic plan for the District as we move forward educating our 21st century learners.

    Meetings will be held at the locations and times shown below. All parents are welcome to attend at any of the meetings.

    Tuesday, February 28th from 8:45am - 10:45am at Monte Vista Middle School

    Thursday, March 2nd from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Las Colinas Middle School

    Saturday, March 11th from 9:00am - 11:00am at Dos Caminos Elementary School

    The DDA is SRTMS's biggest fundraiser and supports our most important goal: providing students with an outstanding educational experience.   • ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 2017-2018:  February 27-March 3, 2017Registration

    The PVSD registration period for the 2017-2018 school year is just around the corner!  Families wishing to register a new student for the 2017-2018 school year must begin the pre-enrollment process online. Pre-online registration must be done before you go to your neighborhood school in person to complete the registration process.  Click here to begin the pre-enrollment process.

    Registration for PVSD Child Care for the 2017-18 school year will open on Monday, February 27. Beginning that day, forms will be available at the school office, District Office or available for download here.

    Forms must be submitted to the District Office and must be accompanied by a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per child.

    DR. SEUSS NIGHT - Friday, March 3
    Friday March 3rd, let's all save the date.  It's Dr. Seuss' birthday, we must celebrate!  Come enjoy a night full of fun on Friday, March 3 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm as we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss!  Especially geared for our kindergartners to second graders, we will enjoy crafts, silly snacks, reading from our favorite Dr. Seuss books and some extra special Cat in the Hat entertainment!

  • Logo SAVE THE DATE!  18th ANNUAL 5K PEEL OUT - April 30, 2017

    The Camarillo-Somis Pleasant Valley Lions Club, in partnership with the Pleasant Valley School District, is proud to present our 18thAnnual 5k, one mile Bananarama Run, and 1k Cub Run on Sunday, April 30, 2017.  The day of health, fitness, and running gives runners three different races to choose from.  It will also include a many wellness based vendors.  The event will be held at the beautiful Camarillo Ranch House, and the 5k is one of the fastest 5k runs in Ventura County.  Click here to read more about the event, and to connect to the electronic registration.

    The Pleasant Valley School District is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle for our students. To send the right message and to help our students make good choices, teachers, staff, parents and students can all work together. Our Wellness Committee will again be meeting this year and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.  The meetings will be held at the Pleasant Valley School District office at 600 Temple Avenue.  They will begin at 8:45 a.m. on the following dates: October 13 and December 8, 2016 and February 9 and April 20, 2017.

    Due to numerous student allergies, ALL SRTMS classrooms are “peanut/tree nut free zones”. NO peanut/tree nut products are allowed in the classrooms, including any foods processed in a facility that also processes nuts. NO EXCEPTIONS. All food products brought to the SRTMS campus (example: parties, teacher luncheons, sports banquets) MUST be approved by the classroom teacher or office staff. Students may enjoy peanut/tree nut products in their snacks and lunches, yet precautions will be taught to all students to minimize cross contamination. All questions or concerns are to be directed to the Health Office.
