  • CineMagicCineMagic
CineMagic is a performing arts program for students in 3rd through 8th grade that builds self-confidence while providing standards-based instruction in singing, dancing and acting. It exposes children to the performing arts -- theater traditions and music styles, such as jazz -- that they might not otherwise be able to experience. The program culminates in a spring performance on a large stage. All 3rd - 5th graders attending a Pleasant Valley School District school will learn the CineMagic songs with director Lindann Cheney during the school day in their music specialist instructional time. No weekday after school rehearsals yet! Click here to register online.

  • Healthy Lifestyles
The PVSD Board of Trustees recognizes the link between student health and learning and desires to provide a comprehensive program promoting healthy eating and physical activity for District students. The PVSD Wellness page has some great resources for both nutrition and physical activity, even a wonderful section on local walking, hiking, and biking trails.
