"Thank You for Helping Us Bloom and Grow" is the theme for this fun week of expressing gratitude for our teachers and staff at La Mariposa. We need one volunteer coordinator per class to help with e-mailing the class parents our schedule of activities, collecting thank-you notes and assembling flowers into vases. If you can assist, please contact Beckie Cramer at email@example.com. The PTA will be coordinating lunch for the staff on Wednesday, May 18. Sign-ups for contributing to the luncheon will start next week!
La Mariposa's Used Book Sale is coming soon! Beginning April 18, we will be accepting gently used books for the Spring Buck-A-Book Fair. The donated books will be on sale for $1 each in the MPR on May 25th & 26th. There will be a cart in the front office where parents can drop off book donations. Students may also bring book donations to their classroom (each class will have a collection box). Please contact Nora with any questions.
Once a month, the Principal has an informal meeting with parents and the community regarding the state of the school, upcoming events, and future programs. The purpose of the meeting is to inform all the stakeholders of the school. Parents and community members are invited to express positive feedback.
