  • Intent to Return

    PVSD is planning for the 2018-2019 school year. It is important for all students to provide their Intent to Return (IR) electronically this year. We intended to start the online submission process for this in December but our systems are still being developed.  You will receive a communication when the IR Portal is open.  Please watch your email for updated information.   • Superintendent's Inaugural Business and Community Advisory Meeting

    Do you own or run a business in the community and want to make a positive impact on our schools?  Please join us at the Superintendent's Inaugural Business and Community Advisory meeting on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Camarillo Boys and Girls Club. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Superintendent Ramsey will be sharing the many wonderful activities going on at our District sites.  Please RSVP at 445-8800.   • Camrosa Water District Monitoring Requirements Notification

    PVSD received a notice from Camrosa Water District that last February they did not fully comply with all of their monitoring requirements. This did not create an emergency, but, by law they are required to notify all of their customers of this error. Health and Safety Code section 116450 requires our district to pass along this notification to our students, parents, and staff members. This website announcement serves as that notice.   • Pleasant Valley School District Announces
    Monthly School Tours

    In an effort to be accessible to parents and community members who have an interest in knowing more about the schools in Pleasant Valley School District, we are pleased to announce that all schools will be offering monthly tours. Visitors will meet the Principal and see the campus in action. They will also be given information regarding Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, registration and any highlights for that particular school. Tour dates have been arranged so that there is only one school running a tour at that given time. Tours will run approximately 45 minutes.

    If you are interested in signing up for a school tour, follow these steps:

    • Call the school you are interested in touring and let them know you want to sign up for a school tour (phone numbers are below next to each school name)
    • The staff member will give you the next available tour dates and will take your name and phone number for the date you pick.
    • You will be contacted only if the tour needs to be cancelled
    • Show up the assigned date and time of the tour and enjoy.
      **Note – you must call and make the appointment. No drop-ins will be allowed.

  • LCAP Approved by County
    LCAP Overview

    The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) has been approved by the Ventura County Office of Education. The LCAP outlines the instructional and financial goals for the Pleasant Valley School District. This plan was written using the input of staff, students, parents, and community members. Please take the the time to review our goals, as well as the plans we have set to reach those goals. Here you will find the full version of the LCAP.   • PVSD 1:1 Learning

    Today's learners are being challenged to think deeply in all subject areas, develop collaboration skills, and to demonstrate their learning in creative and complex ways. PVSD is committed to providing the best opportunities to students so that they can develop skills that will help them be successful in high school, college, and beyond. Additionally, the educational content of today's classroom is increasingly found online. To this end, PVSD will be providing a Chromebook to every 6th - 8th grade student for use at school and at home. Learn more here.

  • Board Meetings

    Regular Board meetings will be at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Broadcasting will start at 6:00 p.m. on Channel 10 for Time Warner customers and on Channel 29 for Verizon FiOS customers. Agendas are posted the week of the Board meeting. Click here for the 2018 Board meeting schedule. Special Board meetings are usually conducted at the District Office. Exact location of the meeting is indicated on the agenda.
