    MR. BORCHARD WELCOMES PARENTS AND STUDENTS TO THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR 

    Welcome to a new and exciting year at SRTMS.  The 2017-2018 school year is rapidly approaching and the entire SRTMS staff is anxiously anticipating the arrival of your child(ren).   • MIDDLE SCHOOL ORIENTATION & 6th GRADE BOOT CAMP

    A new school year is upon us, and the Middle School Orientation will be here soon. Middle School Orientation & 6th Grade Boot Camp will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Please click here for more details.  A hard copy of the letter is being mailed to all middle school families.  We look forward to seeing our middle school students soon.  PLEASE REMEMBER THAT EVERY STUDENT MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT.

    At Orientation, students will purchase locker locks, pay science lab fees, receive an Activity Card, sign Technology Acceptable Use Agreements, pick-up textbooks, receive their locker assignment and their class schedule.

  • WELCOME TK & KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES

    On Thursday, August 24, the PTO will host a welcome for all incoming Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten families. The event will be held at SRTMS In the quad directly in front of the TK/Kindergarten classrooms and in the playground from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Pack a lunch, play in the playground, tour SRTMS points-of-interest, and meet the TK/Kindergarten teachers, school administrators, other incoming TK and Kindergarten students and their families and PTO members.
     
    A Welcome Letter was sent to your home from Mr. Borchard and our TK/Kindergarten teachers. This included many details and helpful hints for a wonderful start for your child's first year at SRTMS.  We look forward to seeing our new Eagles very soon.

  • VOLUNTEER HANDBOOK, FORMS & ACKNOWLEDGEMENTVolunteers

    Volunteers are key to the success of students at SRTMS!  Your support as a volunteer benefits our school community in a myriad of ways, and it also sends a message to children that you place a high value on the process of education. We thank you in advance for sharing your time, energy and talents.  Please click here for the Volunteer Handbook that includes all the requirements and paperwork needed to become a volunteer.  This year, we are requiring parents to sign an acknowledgment that they have read and understood all the volunteer requirements

    As a public school, Santa Rosa Technology Magnet School provides all regularly needed school supplies. You can help us extend our programs and enhance the products students create in class by sending school supplies with your child on the first day of school that are both shared and kept for individual use. For those students who do enjoy shopping for school supplies, please click here for the 2017-2018 suggested and appropriate Supply Lists for each grade level.

  • CROSS COUNTRY COACH NEEDED!

    SRTMS is in need of a Cross Country coach for our middle school team. Time commitment would be from August-early November, with an average of four days per week, after school, for at least 1-2 hours each day. Coach must be at least 18 years old.  Please contact Mr. Borchard with questions or interest as soon as possible.

  • CHILD CARE REGISTRATION FOR THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR!

    Registration for PVSD Child Care for the 2017-18 school year is ongoing and registration will be processed thoughout the summer.  Forms are available at the District Office or available for download here.Child Care

    Forms must be submitted to the District Office and must be accompanied by a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per child.

  • READY FOR 7th GRADE?  Get your TDAP information here
     

    Incoming 7th graders for 2017-2018:  California Health & Safety Code 120335 states, any pupil advancing to the 7th grade level of any private or public elementary or secondary school must be fully immunized, including all pertussis boosters and the second MMR.  When your child receives the Tdap booster please bring proof of the immunization to your child’s school before June 16, 2017.  Students will be excluded from the first day of school if proof of the Tdap is not received by August 29, 2017.

  • LEGO ROBOTICS TEAMS - Grades 4-8 Forming Now!Lego League

    Every year PVEF sponsors teams from Camarillo's public schools to participate in the international FIRST LEGO League competition (grades 4 - 8) and the Jr. FIRST LEGO League program (K - 3). These programs are the result of a collaboration between the non-profit organization FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO Group, maker of the famous small plastic building blocks.   • PEANUT/TREE NUT FREE CLASSROOMS

    Due to numerous student allergies, ALL SRTMS classrooms are “peanut/tree nut free zones”. NO peanut/tree nut products are allowed in the classrooms, including any foods processed in a facility that also processes nuts. NO EXCEPTIONS. All food products brought to the SRTMS campus (example: parties, teacher luncheons, sports banquets) MUST be approved by the classroom teacher or office staff. Students may enjoy peanut/tree nut products in their snacks and lunches, yet precautions will be taught to all students to minimize cross contamination. All questions or concerns are to be directed to the Health Office.
